For sale - 1995 Grover Jackson Dinky Custom Made in Japan
Grover Jackson was a short-lived sub-brand of Jackson guitars. They produced high-quality, classic designs in Japan for the domestic market. As a precursor to the ‘Jackson Stars’ brand (mostly Korean production) they made premium instruments with some fantastic finishes and hardware options.
This particular guitar features:
Extremely thin neck with beautifully crafted pearloid inlays
Rosewood fretboard with jumbo frets in excellent condition
GJ Gotoh and Takeuchi hardware finished in a spectacular gold plating.
Quilted maple top with matching reverse headstock.
This example is in exceptional condition. The body is almost flawless, whilst the headstock sports only two small veneer chips (pictured). These are not through to the wood and could be easily rectified. The hardware is fantastic, with lots of tonal versatility. All backplates are present.
